slarti
I have a pair of clear corners that are for the 2 bulb configuration, however my car currently has the 1 bulb corners. Is there a way I could change the bulb carrier to a 2 bulb carrier? And if so, where could I find the carrier I need?Hope someone can help I've been sitting on these clear corners since last summer, and frankly it's starting to hurt.
Shearer
You just need to buy the corner w/ 2 bulbs, coz you plug the same harness in.I used to have it on my 850, but I sold it to Will, maybe he can post some pics
slarti
That's what I figured but I can't seem to find the bulb carrier with 2 bulbs on the web anywhere. Does someone have a part number, I'd be willing to just buy it at the dealer, but when I asked them about it I got a "huh, what are you talking about?" Volvo OD
FCP sells them as well, but they dont carry the sockets!!
beachnut
FCP sells them as well, but they dont carry the sockets!!The FCP Groton euro turn signals are the same clear ones that VPTuning sells, just without the Hella 2-bulb socket and bulbs. The ones on FCP are only $25 each, then you'd have to get the 2-bulb sockets from VP for $45 per pair - comes out a little less expensive than the VP total kit. The only difference is that the VP corners are Hella lenses and the FCP ones are ScanTech.
Volvo OD
You can just get sockets from a parts store and rewire. Its not hard to do, just make sure you use a crimping tool and shrinkable butt connectors.
