Mic Mac
Hi all I found a hose not connected to anything on my car. I'm not sure where it goes. It starts at the fuel pressure regulator and ends at number 43 in the photo diagram. any thoughts are welcome. thanks mike
B_Dub
IIRC, this attaches to a port on the turbo inlet. My memory is foggy on this but I believe this is there to vary fuel pressure with vacuum. That's my understanding, and I hope this helps. -Brandon
Mic Mac
Thanks for that Brandon, I will check it out, will get the car on ramps at the w/e as I need to replace the rear O2 sensor anyway. For the time being I connected it to the vacuum tree. It hasn't blown up yet, and the power seems to have improved? maybe I'm imagining it. lookforjoe
No, it attaches to the turbo inlet hose, it's purpose is to draw moisture out of the diaphragm. The control tube is too small to create any change in fuel pressure, the main line to the intake does that.
