550
well all you need to do is get a crush connect t fitting. I dont know what size, but 1/8 sounds rightwhat you could do is get a rubber hose piece to go over the nylon tubing so you dont have to monkey around with the crush connector fittings. the underlørd
Everytime I start to put the adapter on, the teflon tape just keeps peeling back and coming off. What am I doing wrong? Or could it be that I am using LOWES Teflon tape, that cost me $.97 and it is just shitty tape.you're wrapping the tape the wrong way. Do it the opposite way you were doing it. Mesoam
no such thing as shitty teflon tape just shitty people...think about what is happening when you thread the fitting on, its unthreading the tapewrap it the other way and it wraps the tape tighter instead unwrapping it

BlackT5
just make sure to wrap the tape a little back from the end so it won't get stuck in the sensor.Put my gauge in the other day, have only started the car.. not driven it.6.5 bar or 95psi on cold start idle. BlackT5
When it was installed before I forget what it read, but it might have been like 75-80 something like that.Oh where is the stock sending unit located at? Also if it is the same for the 850's 98's s70's and my 99 s70 that would be cool, if not does anyone know where it is located?Pictures if possible. Thanks--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thanks to Kevin's knowledge, I found out it is in front of the block, and would need to take the intake mani off to get to it.if you can't wrap teflon tape, you going to pull the intake mani? :P

BlackT5
Well, the oil pressure sensor is leaking like a bitch, so it's all coming back apart tomorrow.
550
Mark wrap it with teflon. I got around this issue by just plain grounding the sensor itself (not the side with the contact)I wrapped my trans temp stuff with teflon tape (duh... stupid move) but after thinking about it, the ground is just so it can measure resistance. As the heat goes up I would imagine the resistance does to and that is technically how it should read it.it works atleast hahaha, not sure about oil pressure though... just an idea
BlackT5
I did put a couple wraps of teflon tape on the threads, and there's a rubber washer on it too. I thought I got it a bit tighter last night, but there was a substantial amount of oil that had run down and off the pan when I got to work today.I'm not sure what the answer is.
