i dont see why not adding an MBC with a chip. unless you want to stay where the boost was set for the chip an MBC will only raise it

i just said it wasnt necessary.

It never is BrianT

Well that was an interesting read!!! A lot of questions answered, cheers chaps!!! Very Happy

However not all of em......

Can someone who knows what pipes are what use the 1st pics at the start to highlight what goes into the oulet and inlet of the MBC and which one needs blanking on the soloniod and which one you leave!!

Also I know from whats said earlier that a 2.0t will take 1bar safely with no mods but can you increase this with BSR Induction and 2.5 inch full system with decat?? if so too what??

Cheers chaps! Very Happy

On boostvalve.com, under the volvo specific kits there is not a s40 kit, only a ph.1 v40. Will this work or should i order the universal kit for $39?

Another quick question-what kind of gains (hp? torque? acceleration?) are achieved by installing this?

ok guys need help finding a good but cheap guage!?!?!

I just got this gauge: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TINTED-7-COLOR-TURBO-BOOST-GA UGE-95-99-ECLIPSE-96-97_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38660QQih Z016QQitemZ260005944816QQrdZ1

Also, check out this thread, I took a couple pictures of how it looks. I am actually really happy with it for the price. The main reason I got it is because one of the colors was green that was close enough to the rest of the gauges.

well i installed how it is pictured. yet heres what turboxs install says: Simply cut the waste gate pressure hose and insert the supply pressure hose onto the brass nipple of the boost controller. Insert the waste gate supply hose onto the blue colored nipple.

and before i bypassed the bcs, i had the yellow line going into the brass nipple
