S40Monster1568908557
I already have.S40Monster wrote on Sat, 23 April 2005 02:51Old topic, but I dealt with this issue recently and figured I'd throw up the answer. You take the line running to the intake and simply remove it, then plug the hole that's in your intake. The line that was running to the wastegate actuator you plug into the output of the MBC, and you plug the remaining line into the input. What do with the actual sensor I haven't quite figured out, the car will run with it removed from the car, but I'm not sure what effect if any this has on the car. I'm not sure if I should reinstall it and cap it, or just leave it as is.Another update, cap off your BCS and leave it plugged in. Removing it from the car completely with throw all sorts of engine codes.

Eese
S40Monster wrote on Wed, 25 May 2005 02:41I have found that the best way to install is to remove the BCS then cap off the hole left in the intake and all three vacuum connections on the BCS, however leave it plugged in to the harness. Then run the line coming from your turbo to the input of the MBC and the line going to the wastegate actuator on the output. I can take pictures if it will help, but it's really pretty self explanitory what's you get in there. What´s the difference on those installations..? MBC with removed BCS vs. MBC with BCS?? S40Monster1568908557
With capped BCS I'm not throwing an overboost code.
vulvas40t41568908561
I noticed that without the original BCS and only with MBC the boost rises even faster than with bcs. And no boost spikes. My MBC works better without original BCS. Believe me now Eese.

vulvas40t41568908561
The blue and yellow are wrong way on your picture eese. You just disconnect all pipes of the BCS and plug them. Then leave it hanging with power cable connected on BCS.Then just connect red line to mbc input and yellow to output and your all good. No warning lights and no problems. Remember leave original BCS with power cable on.
