Demonfire
I get your plugging all the holes on the solenoid and the red and yellow plug into the mbc, but what do you do with the blue hose?

I find that very hard to believe. Or at least very strange. The MBC just keeps the wastegate shut all of the time untill the max boost level is reached, at which point it opens. All of this regardless of the TCV. IMHO.But then again, I haven't tried it and you have.Janis
vulvas40t41568908561
I thought first that MBC is just bull stuff but it really works. On my car it works even better without original BMC and thats ok to me.

Personally I used the blue hose in place of the yellow one because you really want all lines to and from the MBC to be as short as possible.janis wrote on Sun, 10 July 2005 13:30vulvas40t4 wrote on Sun, 10 July 2005 18:17I noticed that without the original BCS and only with MBC the boost rises even faster than with bcs. ..) vulvas40t41568908561
Did you mean s40monster that you changed the blue pipe on wastegate actuator line?Yellow is the original wastegate actuator line.
S40Monster1568908557
Correct, if you want to keep it simple just remove the blue one completely from the car and plug both the intake and the BCS. But I took the yellow one completely out of the car and used the blue one in its place because it's shorter.
vulvas40t41568908561
Would i get even more accurate control if i changed the input of the MBC to the line between intake manifolt and turbo?I mean the line which my boost gauge is now and the line where how to section tells to connect boost gauge. I mean that if i connect the input of the mbc on the same line with boost gauge would it be more accurate signal to wastegate and mbc? Because now the input is taken from red line which comes from turbo and when temperatures change the signal is not soma accurate.
S40Monster1568908557
I'm not sure but it would be interesting to try. Where does that line go after being tied into the MBC? I can't remember at the moment.
vulvas40t41568908561
This is the line and it goes from íntake manifolt to turbo. The boost gauge gets it reading from it and it accurate so i thought that if i take mbc input signal from it and Mbc output with yellow line to waste gate would the signal be more accure? S40Monster1568908557
I know which line it is, I also have a boost gauge installed. I just don't remember where it heads after that.
vulvas40t41568908561
Into the turbo charger. Same pressure is on the line which is on the turbo because gauge show it.
S40Monster1568908557
It's the one that's attached to the diverter valve isn't it? I'm not sure if teeing into all those lines is smart, you want to keep those hoses as short as possible. Output is much more important than input but even still I'm not sure 5' of cold line is better then 2' of hot line. Any ways give it a shot and post the results.
