Came home with:JL 350/4JL 5.25 TR seriesMorel 6.5 componets So, heres how it went today:pulled the sub first, heres the "box" everyone was asking aboutdecided that I wanted to put all the amps on the PS of the trunklaying it outthats the "frame" that will get carpeted and close it off. gives you the rough idea there
Guest DougK
Ok, on to the rear shelf. I wanted to mount my 6.5's in the rear shelf so I made this:not bad got it pretty centeredheres one with the flash, it makes the carpet look REALLY differnet color wise. It is... but not that badonce again you get the ideaLast part, ipod hardwiring.
Guest DougK
This was pretty easy really. Take one large stone (or Josh's head) and break the plastic apart. Ok thats a lie. A flatblade screwdriver on the joint for the dark gray side, it'll pop apart. You'll end up with thisde soder the 2 power leads (red and black) and add your own.(nasty job I did yes I know)jam it all back into the "round" side of the case like sonow on an 850. You can pop that little panel in the storage area there, it'll have two torx screws under it. Pull em to let the console come up enough to fish the wires through. Pretty sure I left a good portion of my hand on that darn console.Notch the cover and you end up with this. There ya go!off to bed. Hopefully finish tomorrow. Just have the adapters for the tweeters left and then running more speaker wire.Oh the JL's are in the front doors, the infinities got moved to the back. That was my first concern, the R is my work car too so occasionally I have to throw drills and such in the trunk and head to a job site. Thats partially why Im "loosing" the sides of the trunk, I'd rather loose the sides and keep the fold down seat.Cute shoes Dougy ← I looked ALL OVER Sacramento for those in my size. I ended up having to order direct online... I have a couple other pairs of the same style in other colors
