gaterp
I was thinking of lowering my car. I went to Butler tire in ATL and they told with the kit and the labor etc. it would $900. Is that a little steep?

prasamin
You could just get in on the Weitec cup kit or spend about $400 total and get lowering springs....Eibach, H&R, B+G, TME, etc
850R Sleeper
I have the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs. I love em and they were around 250, then you just have to find somewhere cheap to put them. If you're thinking about upgrading the shocks and struts if you haven't already, i'd suggest doing all of it at the same time, saves on labor. :)
V Tuning 850
darn $900 seems a little high.I bought mine for $350, and then got them installed for $100APEX Suspension System lowering springs. 1.6" drop.
gaterp
Eibach Pro Kit , and I have bilsteins all around. Thanks for the info , I had sticker stock there for a while. Anybody know anywhere in the ATL that does that? thanks again, also how much better does it ride and handle
InlineTurbo
Depends on what you want to do. Springs are about $220-250 and labor for all for would run about $250 depending on where you go. I'd suggest getting some struts and a camber kit ($35 from IPD) as well because you will be replacing them soon anyway with a lowered suspension. Struts are anywhere from around $350 for TCs to $419 for Bilsteins HDs or $515 or so for Konis unless IPD still has them on sale.So if you do it all the way $900 would be about right depending on what setup you choose. For just springs and installation $900 is way too high.

Fake Name
I've just been through this and have come full circle. My 855r with 17s rod SO HARD with lowering springs it handles worse than stock. I took the springs off last weekend, replaced with stock Rs and but in Bilstein HDs.Much better, and I was surprised that the car still sits pretty low. Not AS low, but well within acceptability.Likely to be an unpopular opinion...fn
