blazen244
It seems that when driving after the first 5miles or so the trans shifts a little wierd, between street starts and about 60mph. it shifts fine but getting up t hwy speeds it seems not as sporty like somethings laggin. I need to know what avenue should I take or what should I haave looked at . After it runs at hwy speeds for a while then it's alright I get a good run out of it .The car is not driven often maybe twice a week for maybe no more than 5miles at a time .If anyone have delt with similar issues please help :o

DEWFPO
Can't tell from your signature/registration what year or model Volvo you are taking about. Do you have a Sport mode switch for the trans. in your car? Have you tried using it? Some Volvo trans. have an adaptive feature which I don't particularly care for. It appears to assume you drive the same way all the time and are predicable, which I am not. Disconnecting the battery on some models will reset the adaptives on the trans. and it will shift very differently for a while until it relearns. It could be that since you don't drive it much or very far that reseting the adaptives may help, but only very temporarily. If it does help you may want to change your driving style, or live with it. Just remember the radio code. DEWFPO
