850GLT333
I have also heard that liquid dampeners are not as effective as a solid material.
jross
I have also heard that liquid dampeners are not as effective as a solid material.←It's probably a function of how well the material binds to the surface(s) in question. If you've got poor adhesion, the dampener won't work well. End of story.

Mudman
Has anyone tried this, or know somebody who has tried it...http://www.quietcoat.com/index.html←Fibre Glass-evercoat has Q-Pads, they come in 12x12 @ $26.00 6 in a pack and 16x16 @ 50.23. A hint: A good heat gun will make these softer and easer to contor to the panel.
Geevs
Quietcar is pretty pricy, but I've heard it's quality stuff.I am planning to use this for the underbody of my car:Check out www.mcmaster.com and search for "vibration damping compound". This seems similar to QuietCar but much, much cheaper - 5 GAL for $65!Just wondering if anyone here has considered re-undercoating their cars (being around 10 years old). I did a seach here on "undercoating" and got nothing. What do you guys think? Duplicolor has a "Professional Undercoat with Sound Dampener". Seems like something to try outside and inside the car.
