Sweet car Kevin. I noticed your North Sails logo over on Turbobricks. Do you windsurf, or are you referring to sailing yachts? I need to come your way sometime..at least to Oregon and go to Hood River.

After much debate I've decided to sell the 242... I'm sure in 5 years i'll kick myself for it, but, oh well.....

I looked at it being I'm a TB member also. The 2dr240 turbos are getting harder to find your looks nice too. I'd lose sleep not buying it myself if I did not already have a bitchin 1984 245TI 4spd/od with some mods. It's my beater but it is as nice condition as my 97 855R. I know your asking whats with all the wagons?, well I'm a family man!. Got to have room for all the kid crap plus the stroller :D

Kev why you selling?  Did you get the head thing fixed?

Todd

I just need the money for the silver car, and as much as I wanted a daily driver, i just can't afford to maintain, gas up, and insure 2 cars...

and yeah, i fixed the head, now just a small mani exhaust leak.. a 20 $ fix.

These are excellent cars, guys! There isn't much on them you can't do in an afternoon with relatively inexpensive parts. You learn a lot about cars by tinkering with them. Everything is just so easy to do ;)

Someone needs to really buy this car, unless I magically find $1200 and buy it myself.

These cars are so much fun, and there is so much you can do with them. You don't have to put much money into them to make them fast [unless you choose to dump paycheck after paycheck into it, like I. There is tons of room in the engine bay to work around with. EricF was right, you can really learn alot from working on these cars, I sure have with my 244.

RWD is tons of fun, as well as having a manual transmission.

Here is a pic of someone else's black 242 for reference as to how badass they can look
