Slater
My sunroof works fine, but makes a terrible sound like when you grate your fingernails on a chalkboard when you open or close the sunroof. It's not busted or a bad motor or anything like that. I think it just needs to be lubed maybe?Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix? What kind of grease should I use and where should I lubricate it?Thanks!- Slater
kenhoeve
i would try a teflon spray on rails in lieu of grease.
BeachRat
i would try a teflon spray on rails in lieu of grease.←I've noticed mine creaking recently as well. Wouldn't teflon spray run all over the place though? What about Marine grease? That stuff is waterproof!

That stuff is waterproof!←there are sprays that go on very light, almost dry. the advantage is good coverage, you can't get everything with grease.
