Have you installed ground cable from battery to the front side as well? 0 AWG. Battery is grounded from a trunk.Tcode, could you tell/advice me what fuse to use from battery to engine bay. I bought one 200A. Is the ok, too much or not enough? Thanks! I had 150A but it blowed too often (once a month). Having 200A now, all good . Put it as close as possible to the + terminal on a battery. Danilis
Tcode, may i ask?Have you installed the AEM twin fire with our stock coils?I am asking because i think our OEM coils have internal igniter, and AEM is not able to work with that kind of coils. Also i am about to install same msd 8224 coils, and i was thinking to get an AEM twin-fire as well, instead of use an second hand Bosch ignition module between ECU and Coils (from any cosworth, punto gt or whatever). konstantinos
Where did you get the tail pipe? Do you have this one on the video? Because the noice from the exhaust on the video is very low and i like that..
tcode1568908558
Thanks guys! I'm working on a semi traction control with VEMS these days and it should be functional next weekend. Also, I bought a 2.0t gearbox. In combination, I'm expecting much more traction and better acceleration. The engine is still stock , it holds well so far, keeping boost under 2,4 bar seems to be a good move .It's not just the tail pipe which silence the exhaust, there are two big full free flow mufflers in the game. tcode1568908558
My new 1/4 mile time is officially 12,76 seconds. The car has totally daily driver setup, regular road tires, full interior (absolutely nothing stripped from inside), no suspension tricks mented to be good just for drag etc., as I already said, a true daily driver! THis is something we should aim for:http://heffnersperformance.com/miami_hofman_mile.htmAnd this should be reality by now:
