My T4

Wasn't measured BP. Bought Tial A/R 1,06 exhaust housing, should help with BP a lot . It should raise boost threshold 500-600 rpm too, but shouldn't be a problem since I don't drive it as a DD anymore. Will see how it will turn out.

Don't know exact trap speed (we didn't get that info on the time slips), but it's around 200 km/h, because I lift the foot from the gas pedal at the moment I crossed finish line. Dashboard speedo is very accurate now.

You should have bought that 1.06/ar housing same time you bought that gtx3076. ;) But i think it will be great ones you bolt that housing on. :)

oh man,

stuff happens.

There are not that many people who has broken 81mmbore block. Something wen´t wrong, too much boost for that exhaust housing, maybe some knocking, too much EGT in cylinder 3, too lean mixture in cylinder 3, or something.

Hopefully you´ll get new block soon, consider darton sleeves...

From personal experience, 600 BHP would be quicker than 12.3 at the 1/4 mile. The 0-120 mph is definitely not 600 BHP.... Your 0-60 was still in the 5 second range.... The 4G63 eclipse we're working on now is making 400 whp and easily making 0-60 times much quicker than that...

Granted, AWD vs FWD, and there are different gear ratios, but the S40 is a relatively light car, a standard GSX weights about 400 lbs more than an S40..

Lag + FWD + Traction problem = slow 0-60 times...hence why they shine in the higher speeds...

I guess, it still just doesn't seem like 600 bhp. He was saying it was an estimate, I'd say it's more like 450 whp if anything... Even if you did have that much lag, smaller turbo with less lag would be better, except for off the line. I work around 500hp+ cars pretty frequently, and the best word I could use to describe acceleration in a 600 hp car is scary (at first). We were running high 10's low 11's in my buddies black GSX with about 600 whp. (ams intake, 4" exhaust, 2100cc injectors w/e85, GT850R turbo)

Even the newer stock Subaru WRX (my good friend owns one, stock 240 whp) does 0-60 in under 5.5 seconds with a 5 speed trans (yeah, AWD) but they are only running a 16G turbo. Spools quick, and you can get around 400 HP out of the turbo on those cars with the right mods and tuning.

After watching the video again, multiple times, it's definitely quick from 60-120 about 8 seconds (about 13.5 seconds overall 0-120 mph)

IDK it's just not 600bhp to me. I really just want to see a dyno. However, apparently that will be impossible.. At least for now lol

stop comparing apple to orange on this thread about X car make certain power can go x.x 1/4mile vs Y car with same power range.

Ever wonder why Supra is always slow compare to the other car on the same power range at drag strip. Some car aren't made for straight line acceleration and S40 is one of them. Especially being on FWD platform does help.

Any car can go fast on a straight line. How does it handle the curve is another different subject and matter to majority of car enthusiast.
