Asinine Posted April 17, 2005 Report Share Posted April 17, 2005 Well i found out the hard way over the weekend why it's a moonroof and not a sunroof, and that is because you shouldn't have it open unless it's night.I drove for 4 hours in great sunny weather from KW - Kingston ON on Friday and had my Oakley's on and the moonroof open. When i got to my friends place i went to use her washroom and my nose was as red as a pepper.Ironically enough while my nose has never been a topic of conversation, one of my friends friends who could tell by my face that i'm irish decided to 'show' what irish people look like to another friend who didn't know. So, the first and only time my nose has ever been the topic of conversation is the time when it's burnt while nothing else on my face really was.So, moral of the story - if you're as white as me either 1) wear sunscreen when crusing with the roof open, or 2) Keep it on tilt!?
