I love the look of them on my car. The light output is a little different than the standard U.S. lights because they use the Euro-spec H1 bulbs. This results in a slightly wider beam pattern that lights up the sides of the road better, but they do not project down the road quite as far as 9005 and 9006 bulbs. H1 bulbs are higher lumens than 9006 bulbs and just slightly lower than 9005 bulbs, FYI.I haven't put HIDs in mine, but Peter (Dr. 850R) has. So it would be good to check with him.
