S40TUNER Posted June 2, 2015 Report Share Posted June 2, 2015 I have a 2000 Volvo s40 1.9 T is that a vacuum leak for so long I'm not sure what the normal idle RPM are supposed to be if anybody can inform me It would be greatly appreciated as are doing right now its 600 r_p_m seems kind low but I'm not sure insight would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ol' Dirty Noodle Posted June 2, 2015 Report Share Posted June 2, 2015 OT idle is 750 rpm, cold start is 1100 rpm to help bring the motor up to temp, you'll notice your auto box runs the RPMs higher before shifting when cold to also help with warming up. S40TUNER Posted June 4, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 4, 2015 thank you status update its currently are you doing 400 rpms and when I hit the gas well as a neutral and hurry up and let off it stalls it has a new IAC valve MAP sensor mass air flow sensor can anybody help me figure out what the problem could be I had it fixed for a while it just started again recently any suggestions on what I should replace next I'm running out of sensors to replace like I said new IAC, MAF, MAP, COILS, WIRES, PLUGS, UPPER O2, water temp, thermostat,TCV and soon the IAT so please any suggestions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
