qBawl
Damn! Another one gone as I was just getting started! Good luck with the Honda. I have an Acura TSX (or Honda Accord depending on country) with 200,000 miles on it and still hummin' along with just the typical maintenance. Super nice cars. I definitely understand your hate of the volvo's auto and trust me you wont be having any transmission issues on the Honda.Have fun!
theForgottenone
Good luck with the honda. It will be dependable but just watch for airbag recall. The picture copy02 look lowered version.X40 is a love/hate relationship. Sometime i hate it but then sometime i still in love with it for the quirkiness and uniqueness. One thing for sure is there aren't many S40 look like mine in my area. Phixion
Ditto on the airbag recall... Hondas are great cars though, mine served me well for 12 years and 200k+ miles, Actually past 150k is when they really get into their prime. Mine maintained 36mpg till it's last day with me, and that's after flogging in on MANY auto-X outings, and track days as well as 90+ mile daily commute for 4 years. The ONLY issue I ever had with it, was the head gasket had to be replaced at 96k miles, due to at least the 2000 model year having been fitted with inferior head gaskets that would wear out prematurely. Mine was a 4-speed auto and even that never had issues despite flogging the heck out of it, Kept that tranny fluid changed every 15-20k... It'll be a great car for you though. In all reality, ANY used car can treat you less than you treat it if it was neglected to begin with by previous owners. Some cars are just a little more forgiving than others though. I can certainly bet you a WELL maintained and service 10 year old Volvo will treat you better than a 10 year old very poorly maintained Honda/Toyota (we're saying oil changed every 12k+ miles).
