PLANT Posted June 19, 2015 Report Share Posted June 19, 2015 Hi all,Had my door replaced or re done by repair shop and the pop up knob near the window rattles enough to annoy the living daylight out of me.I figure they did not put in the sponge padding that the original fitting has?So other than dismantle the door to review any solutions?Its the knob that goes up and down when you lock the car near the drivers window! The adhesive holding the glue can expire over time, more so on the rears than the front because the rears go OVER the lock arm and aren't held up by a white clip.I put new foam on mine and also if you see the the rectangular slot the arm goes through I put foam on the front and looped it through onto the back so that there is no rattle on it contacting that as well.
