Bemfica1 Posted July 2, 2015 Report Share Posted July 2, 2015 2004 Volvo S 40 went out shopping came back to car and was unable to start it because key does not pass from position II to Position III. it seems like something inside the cylinder lock is jammed and does let it turn all the way to start car. Tried spare key, cleaned them with electric spray, sprayed also inside lock,played with keys while turning steering wheel with no result. Had to leave car in shopping center parking lot.
