Putting red injectors in a ph 1

Hey guys, ive got a 2000 ph1 with the b420t2 motor in it. Gas mileage sucks and ive gotten some red injectors out of an 01. Kids are killing my wallet at the moment and cant really afford to send the injectors of for pro cleaning and flow testing yet. I have 8 reds so i can drop 4 in for now and send the other 4 off in a month or so. Reason i want to do it now, is my gas mileage seems to be getting worse, and ive been told the reds will have a lower duty cycle then the stock ph1 greens. My question is this... what seal kit do i need for the reds, the 2000 orings, or the 2001. Is there a difference. Ive seached for about an hour now and just wanna get them swapped asap. Thanks for any helpm

Good question. Are they listed as a different part # even? Show more has this part # for tons of models.

As an aside, when was the last time you replaced/cleaned your airbox filter?

All these parts stores around central florida cant get their answers straight. Their part numbers line up on some, but not on others, or they dont have the same numbers to cross reference from one store to another, or they dont include the baskets.

i have a drop in k&n panel filter thats cleaned and oiled every 3 or 4 months. The box is stock, but gutted and the front panel with the two screws in it, removed. Brand new volvo plugs, coils and wires have been replaced, pcv systems been replaced, oil return line oring and gasket replaced, tb to ic pipe has been replaced with stainless, and oil is maintained with Royal Purple Synthetic 10w-30.

I guess that link sorta answers my question. It was listed in the 1.9 and 2.0 section. Providing that that site is accurate, ill make an attempt to order the kit for the orings and baskets(which arent listed for the 2.0 injectors), for the 1.9 injectors. Down side about it is i got to wait a week for them to get here......

Fuel filter is also something you'd want to look into, easy to change.

Volvo states it's a 100K interval on the change, however they also say the trans doesn't ever need fluid changes...

If it hasn't been serviced, the pcv system service is a big deal. Clogged pcv system will cause a ton of issues. Rough running, poor performance, etc. Not to mention, likelihood of blowing seals...
