S420 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Share Posted July 23, 2015 So months back I had my check engine light come on. Got the code, and tried to figure out what was causing it. Between me and a few friends, we couldnt figure it out. I really couldn't bring it to the mechanic, do to being broke. My inspection is coming up, so I had to get it done. Finally had some extra spending money, so I brought it in. Dreading it was going to be a pain to figure out and be expensive, he did a smoke test. Found the hose, ordered it from Volvo and had my mechanic put it in.Total cost of part and labor, $38! After months, my car is back to normal. 1clean00 Posted July 24, 2015 Report Share Posted July 24, 2015 That hose tends to fail rather frequently. I've been working with Kristian at SNABB on making a silicone one.
