1clean00
Just looked at mine yesterday. The 00' only has the IAT and IAC on the intercooler. 01'+ got two map sensors. So basically on the intercooler you just need a boss for the IAT and a vac port for the IAC valve. I'd just measure that out and get some bulk silicone hose that is the same id. TEEKAY
Try and find aero kroil - aka Kroil. You can find it in a lot of farm equipment / tractor places. It is more expensive and worth EVERY penny. http://www.amazon.com/Kano-AeroKroil-Penetrating-Aerosol-13-Ounce/dp/B005XUIX24also when all else fails, hit it with the torch

s40speed
Ok thanks guys I'm just curious has any of y'all had this issue sometimes the vacuum leak fixes it self until I have to remove the intake manifold for something I got that down to a science I can have the manifold off in 10 minutes probably not a good thing that I've had to remove it so many times
1clean00
Most notorious "hidden leaks." Brake booster hardline at the manifold, fitting becomes loose and doesn't hold hard line, may blow itself loose under hard boost, fine under vac or normal cruising. Also the IAC hose running to the intercooler, they become hard and brittle over time and can crack at the clamps and give false MAF codes, or otherwise rough running, idle issues and low boost across the board. s40speed
Ok thanks I'm gonna replace the pcv system while it is tore apart still working on the head and how do you remove the studs from the manifold and turbo working on it now and having issues
theForgottenone
why you need to remove the studs from the manifold?
s40speed
Well I'm taking the head off to replace the little o rings where the spark plug screws in and being that I bought the car for 400$ I'm replacing everything along the way and am having a full polish done on the head and rebuilding it so I don't have to do this again anytime soon and I love the expression on people's faces when they get beat by a s40 ya know lol
1clean00
3 angle valve job and match the intake runners is what i did on the T5. Really woke up the motor, smooth power and doesn't feel like it works as hard under heavy boost.
Phixion
I dunno, when my brake booster hardline blew from the manifold, it was not under boost. It was actually during coasting and deceleration on a down sloped freeway offramp thankfully. But if the hardline completely releases out of the manifold, the engine will stop rendering the car VERY difficult to maneuver or stop if any evasive action is needed... No power brakes or power steering.
s40speed
Yeah I thought about that and replaced it with silicone there is not much that's not silicone I replaced it all except the pcv lines with silicone that's y I gonna replace the pcv system and hope for the best
