flyfishing31568908306 Posted August 24, 2015 Report Share Posted August 24, 2015 98 V70R i can feel cold air out of ac so i know thats working fine. the blower is not blowing under any setting including auto. fuses are fine. how can i jump the resistor to see if its that before diving into the blower motor? BEJinFBK Posted August 26, 2015 Report Share Posted August 26, 2015 Here's what I've always done to check out a blower motor in any rig.Take it out. Inspect the squirrel cage and the duct it came out of andclean if needed. Make sure the cage spins freely. Check the motor shaft bearings for wiggle and end play. While keeping a good grip,apply voltage to the motor and confirm that it runs smoothly.Lubricate the bearings. I prefer TriFlow.There are only two terminals on the motor.
