oil cooler

It should have both. Two inputs, two outputs. One path has coolant and one has oil that run through different channels exchanging heat.

If you just disconnected the hoses, there are two ports on the backside of the cooler. I'm going to assume that's the oil loop.

I guess you could pull the coolant hoses and use it for your new cooler and then the old cooler is just an oil loop? Where are you mounting the new cooler / getting its source for the loop? Link to cooler you're talking about?

That wouldn't do much.  You would want to block off the oil cooler with a plate,  loop the coolant lines,  and route the oil lines to a remote cooler.

something like this...

obviously you would need to adapt for 4cyl oil cooler fitment.

Yo I'm looking at a local shop to make a few adapter plates. Who would be interested?

Fella said they would do it in1/4 billet with npt threads. They wanted me to gauge interest of a group buy.

Nothing like that yet. I sent them pics of these and they agreed they would want to do it similarly but wanted to see how many I could muster. (Their site is http://www.jmfabrications.com/site/)

If it's a total price hike I'll bail on it entirely.

Earlier Warren mentioned Sutes thread , his is aluminum plate with 8 AN fittings on it.

I stumbled upon this googling, I guess newer phased cool kids can swap their pans and use the one for the focus.

Adam gave me the link to the thread for this one:
