NWiatrak Posted September 29, 2015 Report Share Posted September 29, 2015 Hi all, I've got a 2003 Volvo S40. I've been having a CEL recently reading P0304 (Cylinder 4 misfire). Trying to diagnose the issue I found that the misfire code changed to P0301 when I swapped the ignition coils in the engine. I went to Autozone and had the ignition coils replaced and found that the issue persisted. Is this a case of poor quality ignition coils, or is there some other reason why the code would move with the ignition coils? Thanks for your help!
