SharkGTS
Here in Vancouver, B.C. that is. http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5255413877.html There are no compares for pricing, so I figure S60R's are around 10K - add a couple of K for 6 spd and another 1-2K for the wagon and accessories (winter wheels and tires, racks, hitch) I'm looking at Audi A8's - I must be nuts!! SharkGTS
SOLD: To the first guy who came to view. Next day I bought a gorgeous A8L and had cash to spare. Funny how that is!
Tzantushka1568908311
Quick sale is a good sale! Now you have some cash left over - you'll need it for the repair bills on the A8L
SharkGTS
Actually looking at the two service histories both cars 2004, both to 100K +/- 1K miles!! Audi A8L: Brakes & rotors x2 , tires, timing belt/water pump, front upper control arms, fuel pump replacement, temp sensor, t-stat, spark plugs and steering rack. All very reasonable too. I have been to the Audi dealer and they have already cut me some deals on a new key, and roof racks! V70R: Rear brakes complete, rear bearings x 2, front brakes & rotors, front struts, sway bar links x4, fuel rail sensor, PCV hose, spark plugs, fuel filter From Dealer PPI Needs : rear muffler, parking brake adjust and/or cables, top motor mount (yes it was shot), power steering pump (sweating), cam belt change due (10 years), clutch was getting a little low??, d-side headlamp wiper. AWD was not working - this was a shock to me because it was working fine this winter. I also had it in the shop for inspect in July and I never noticed a problem driving it. I could not personally test it as the buyer took the car away anyway - straight to a Swedish speed shop for tuning/down pipe exhaust etc. Also the ignition lock failure problem is a ticking time bomb - roll the dice there. So the V70R has been more problematic, however the bills are generally higher on the A8. Totals costs are about equal I figure. The thing about Audi is there is a potential for big $ repairs if something goes really wrong. But I've had a 5000, V8 Quattro 4.2 (drove it to wrecker), currently have a TT Baseball stitch rag top and now the A8L. Never had a major repair on any of them.
