Welditup
Sup guys. I can't find a intake manifold gasket for my car in the time that I need it. I have a really tight schedule and don't know when I'll have a full day like tomorrow(Saturday) to wrench on my car. Called all the local parts stores for a 2000 volvo 1.9t intake manifold gasket and getting 3-5 day delivery. Can anyone chime in on what I can do? I'm aware of getting a universal gasket sheet but I want to make sure I get the right stuff cause of the positve pressure I'll be having in my intake manifold. I wont be seeing any boost above 15psi. Any suggestions of what I can do?
1clean00
Can you not reuse the gasket that was on the car? And I would think well below 15psi of you have a questionable manifold gasket. How about staying out of boost until it's 100%
Welditup
Ended being a crap shoot today with my car. My babysitter could only watch my demon spawn for a few hours so I just tackled some little stuff, lol. I replaced my evap solenoid, turbo control valve, oil change with the same fluid(castro fully synthetic), cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the maf, and detailed the inside of the interior to top it off. Its running the same still though. Hoping I get a day off soon to tackle the rest, ugh.
