TEEKAY
Is it easy peasy or what? If I buy the hub and the bearing bits can I just smack everything out or do I still need a press?
Ol' Dirty Noodle
You need a press, and some other stuff
1clean00
The 40 series have pretty thin spindles and can crack when pressing in a new bearing. I'd just assume pull some spindles with better bearings off of a junkyard and have them on hand in the event a press cracked a spindle. I replaced the spindles on mine with good used ones and kept my old ones to press in new bearings in the future.
Evolv
i have seen the hub and bearings as one unit quite cheap too. this is in aus, not sure if available elsewhere maybe on rock auto. Have done this on other cars as pressing bearings is a pain
