Lone RangeR
I had the ever popular "wires-broken-at the-hinge" issue in my 2007 V70R, which probably got a bit more advanced than most. Wiper motor not working, then reading of brake light not working (the center LED one), then wires crossed and foot on the brake tried to run the wiper motor (backwards, i think), etc.. I think i may have let it go a bit too far. I finally got in there and cleaned up wiring, and needed new wiper motor, and still had issue with the LED light, which i thought i had isolated to the fixture, but i was wrong. I have now thoroughly tested the wiring back to the rear fuse panel, and it comes out clean. But i get no juice out of the leads leaving the the fuse panel (Tail 1 port). L/R conventional bulb brake lights working fine. I entertained jumping off the trailer connector, but don't have a pinout, and what i could decipher with a test lamp was not making a lot of sense. Anyone been through this/have any insight? cheers- tim
