darrinf15e
Fun day today, not. While driving on a spring break trip with the family, the family truckster surged while climbing a hill and the check engine light illuminated, the tach went to zero, the coolant temp indicator went full cold, and the D for drive became a - (minus) sign on the dash. It was pretty windy and rainy but no other issues. Previous repair was the RF axle for a wobble. We stopped he car at a convenient location (in front of an auto parts store) and read the code as U0002, High Speed Controller Area Network Communication Bus Performance (confirmed). When trying to restart the car, the Immobilizer Warning popped up and the car was subsequently towed to a shop that could hopefully diagnose and repair the problem. Anyone have experience with this code or Immobilizer warning?
