bowtiekilla02
I'm new to the p2 game I have a 2004 s60r with 153000 miles on the body and recently had a 104k motor put in it, I was fooling around on my way home and just wanted to take a video of its acceleration and seems to be a little slow to me, feels like my 850 does a better job than this car, let me know what you think i done the intake mod with k&n filter and a forge cbv. 5 speed auto

Shredder1568908593
Seems slower than it should be, would expect around 5.3-6 seconds and that seems to be more like 6.5-7.
Tzantushka1568908311
Hard to tell from the vid. Don't forget your car is torque limited in 1st and 2nd, and it's heavier than an 850...
bowtiekilla02
Don't know what would cause it to be 6.5-7.5 seconds, no codes or anything like that, maybe update the tcv or something, how do you turn off the computer stuff on them? I know it's something weird by pressing the button so many times. Would that help?
1clean00
do you have a boost gauge? seems like it's not getting all that it should from the turbo
flyfishing31568908306
Volvo didn't fess up to the 04/05 being torque limited right away. People were jacked. 6.2-6.9 is about right for autotragic you can get a tune that removes it. Imo, the 04 auto with limiter removed should beat a MT all day and best stereo
bowtiekilla02
The turbo doesn't get louder the more you push on the pedal like my 850, I thought that was weird but I was thinking about buying a boos gauge for it because it's king to have one to solve problems, what tunes delete the limiter? Anyone tune p2r's that's not $1200? The stereo is nice in it have a passengers side door blown speaker ? But overall it sounds like it has a couple subs in the back lol

Stock manufacturer 0-100 km/h times for the 04 V70R is 7.7 seconds, becasue i) the V70R is heavier than the S60R ii) the torque limiting in 1st and 2nd Understand the manual S60R is around 5.7 seconds. The auto is 7.5 seconds.
bowtiekilla02
Wow it's that much of a difference? That blows lol, this is a s60r and not a v70r but if I end up keeping it I'll look for something that can take the torque limiting out of 1st and second gear and be happy with it, I have a 850 to be a fast car just like the nostalgia of the s60r so I'm fine with near stock car
z2000
I have noticed one thing, when you change gear the engine speed not reaches 6000+RPM. My one always reaches 6500 then switch up gear. Under S button on.
