Luckily my daughter and I got out in plenty of time. Found a mint s40 on craigslist https://nh.craigslist.org/ctd/5549394072.html Going to use a spare 2001 volvo s40 as a trade-in and start wheelin and dealin. I'd love to have your car man, believe me. Good news, found a blue 2001 s40 and everything checks out pretty good. It needs an axle and a cam sensor. Its coming with 2 sets of tires; all seasons and winter tires that are still in good shape and had a timing belt done 30,000 miles ago. Going to snag my axles off my parts car and cam sensor and it should be all set after that.Driving down to boston,ma saturday to buy it, 99% sure. I'm working on both s40s this weekend and I'll have a better idea then when I see the struts in person. You can have the strut mounts for free if they come off without getting damaged, just pay for shipping. You need any interior pieces? My 2001 s40 has nearly mint condition dark grey leather interior. Dont pay attention to the 8 month old videos on my channel, those are from my older s40. The CEL in the video was before I added the O2 spacer on my downstream, cat inefficientcy code.
