8501995
Hi,I changed my front sway bar this morning (which went pretty good!) and realized that the top (anti-vibration) engine mount is broken. (I might have broken it when I lowered the subframe!) The rubber part inside is broken in two parts. I guess it's not that bad, but I should change it.Can anyone tell me what is the part number for that? I figure I'd have to remove the mount that's bolted on the engine (reaches way down, could be hard to reach!) and then remove the rubber part and replace it...Here are some pictures:http://www.ece.concordia.ca/~s_lemay/mount/It's a Volvo 850 1995 GLEThanks! WhiteT5
Hey. This happens to all of the 850/70 series cars eventually. You'll be MUCH better off replacing it with the IPD or EST polyurethane mount. It won't wear out ever.
8501995
Thanks for the reply. Found it on IPD http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?Cat...4720&RootID=62926$US is a bit expensive for what I use the car for I guess. Can I just change the rubber part with the original Volvo part? They have them for a bit cheaper. It does transmit a bit more vibration to the steering wheel but will last forever. Takes about 15 minutes to install. Agents here were impressed with it!
