Guest Guest_lance_*
Hello gang...This morning when I was vacuuming out my car, I noticed that the passenger door panel on my S70 was loose at the bottom. What's weird is, it looks as though the clips are NOT part of the door panel??..Its like the clips are attached to a few black plastic pieces and then were attached to the door panel somehow (glue)??..Now this was a new replacement panel by the dealer for the bubbling issue. I looked on Volvospeed at the picture of the door panel removal and its looks like the clips are attached to the door panel itself in thier pic...What are these plastic pieces that are attached to the clips on my door and why aren't they holding my door in place???..Any thoughts????...Thanks gang....I have an oil change scheduled for tomorrow but I know the dealer will want $$$ for the fix since the new panel is 2 yrs old. I will also post on other sites to get more feedback..Thanks all

Bay13
If you are going to pull the door panel off, I suggest you have a hot glue gun handy so you can repair things as the door is off, I suspect that could be your problem. If you are missing the clips that snap into the door, the post in the maintenance section points out the part numbers you might also want to have extras of them handy if you pull the door panel.
