Why I'll Never Ride A Motorbike

Recommended Posts

Didn't see the link cos I'm on 56k

Riding 'bikes is cool - sure it's a risk, but then anything in life is. I'd rather die young in a 150mph fireball than in a puddle of my own urine and dribble aged 90.

Bikes are scary. I loose atleast 1 (though for a while it was 2-4) friends a year on them. Sad thing is... I still kinda want one.

buddy of mine was just in a pretty serious accident, senile old woman ran a red light and side swiped him buick style, sending him laterally into the woods, his helmet surely saved his life, and left a mark on one of the trees, his leg hit the tree as well and broke both bones, his brother said it was through the skin pretty far, now he has a pin in it. he'll be fine though

this accident is horrific to look at, what a effing nice guy to hit them that hard from the rear, definately wasted

Danger will always be a thrill. Hell I want one. But I know if I ate it my head would probably split like a ripe melon and my body would probably crush into little pieces.

Its really the same reason we speed and take stupid risks with our cars.

I to my knowledge a lot more people injuried street racing than guys who ride bikes.
