JCviggen
I to my knowledge a lot more people injuried street racing than guys who ride bikes.←Injured...maybe. But in terms of deaths I'm sure bikes are waaaaay ahead of cars. You have to keep in mind there are so much more cars than bikes, if you look at the numbers per, say, 1000 bikers the percentage dispatched after x year is truly frightening.Same thing at the Nurburgring, bikes have a little more accidents than cars there, but not that big a difference. But when it comes to fatalities, 90%+ are bikers..Its really not so much that they drive irresponsibly, but that in any accident which would be "ok" for a car, they are already in lethal danger. On top of that they are smaller and more difficult to see or judge their speed from a distance
StickThatClutch
Yeah. I think my point was that a lot of people think that bikes are inhernetly dangerous. I don't believe that. You can be a responsible motorcyclist and you won't get into trouble. If you're irresponsible on a bike or in a car you can do a lot of damage. Even if you aren't injuired you could take out innocent bystanders like the one drunk in that video. Of course if you were in a freak accident on a bike and got plowed into by a car you're probably not going to fare well.
mAydAy
That was all messed up, and scary as hell. Thats the reason I can't bring myself to get a bike.
