Joe_m
This may be a sort of unique situation. Or maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about, but doesn't my car have more in common with the older S70s and 850s than the new svelt S80s, S60s and S40s? Where do I fit in?
550
well looks wise you have more in common. You have an electronic throttle which does not mimick the old cars at all... I do also beleive you have me7 for your ECU and the older cars have motronic.
WhiteT5
1999 and newer S70's are much more like the S60's, S80's, etc. Completely different electrical system, different locking system, transponder in the key, ETM, that the '98's didn't have. theunderlord
2000 S70's have a few other lil cool things that the 98 and 99's didn't have.like a cubby hole in the passenger side kickpanel, a rear drink holder in the rear armrest, some got homelink... the headrests are a lil different IIRC too. '99 plus also have don' thave the dreaded airpump. They do however share the crappy ABS module as the 850s and '98s.
