MrWinkey
After replacement of the ETH . In most cases the car CANNOT be driven and if it can it's very very slow and dangerous..so unless the dealer is just around the corner don't think you can replace the ETH and drive there for a download? I use Volvo's mobile tech service. ;)

gronberg
Volvo have had so much trouble with the throttle and I heard that there is a law suit about it in Cali, Sacramento. They say that it has been a hidden garanti to fix the problem, but mostly the owers got charged to have it fix.My want to check that out. Here is the link to a swedish newspaperAftonbladetIt's in swedish, but it sass that it's about 120,000 cars in sweden and 300,000 cars in the US. Models are 1998-2001 V70, S80, S50 och C70 according to the paper, but I'm thinking S70 also.Just some info about that.
Bay13
There is a lot going on in the courts, and various clean air groups etc. right here in the USA. Trying to keep this stuff out of the maintenance repair forums as there is nothing we can do here to help nor hinder the courts .
