aikitect Posted April 12, 2004 Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 I am 6'-4" and I can feel my hair rubbing on the headliner. My head also bumps the roof when I go over unexpected bumps. I have the seat lowered all the way using the power settings, but I would really like to get the seat 1" lower. (I have these fanasies that it is as easy as removing a few spacers)I like the seats and am not willing to go with aftermarket ones, although I know that some racing seats will give me the head room.If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know. mad max Posted April 12, 2004 Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 My dad has that same problem, he is 6'4 and his head brushes on the roof. He took the seat out to see if he could mount it lower, but i guess he couldnt. (this sounds strange but..) He took out some of the foam and supports from the middle of his seat. I have sat in the seat since then and it is quite a bit lower, but the seat isnt uncomfortable. (it even makes the side bolsters more supportive)..
