ViperVettte
Alright, so i have the C70 coupe with the doubly pro system. It has 11 speakers or something rediculous like that. With the SC901 headunit i believe. Now i wanted to put in a system. There are a couple options that i have. 1 is to put in the head unit from my 850, the Kenwood XDC759. It is kinda old but gets the job done. and put my sub in, i can run it from that head to the sub no problem. of 2 i could run the stock set up with my sub. Now, what do you guys think i should do? I am happy with the sound as is, however i love my rap i.e. the bass has got to be there. The reason i would put the head unit in, is because the 3 disc changer in dash for some reason won't play burnt discs. If anyone can figure that one out, help me out. by the way it is a 2001 C. Thanks for the help guys.V
prasamin
If you like the stock setup, try getting a new changer that will play burnt cd's and go with that, or stay with what you have....it really depends on what you like...since your stock unit is pretty decent, I would filter it and throw in a sub...i didn't like my stock HU, and I needed room for a DIN gauge install, so I went aftermarket..... Kibim
Hey : I have an SC-901 and i love it!If you have the full pro-logic system, there will be a volvo amp under one of the front seats with a din connecter into it. I'd tap off that line and run your amp with a sub off the low-level outs. Be sure to get an active cross-over into the equasion. With the burnt disks, try slower write speed. I find that disks burnt on 2x-4x work fine, but the 32x+ers don't.
ViperVettte
i am most likely going to stick w/ it, the real issue though is installing it. I can run the wires and stuff, but i have no idea how or where to tap into the wires. Help please, i don't fee like paying 140 bucks to have the retards at like circuit city do it. I would just feel ashamed of myself if i had to do that. V
