NUFAN Posted April 13, 2004 Report Share Posted April 13, 2004 I couldn't make it up to the Santa Barbara meet this past weekend , but I did have a chance to meet up with Mike H. and 23109VC from this forum who both recently purchased S60R's. 23109VC and I took a trip up through a few canyons in Malibu and it was great to see how his R and my modified S70 handled on the twisties. I'm just kidding.We actually did stop and get some moving video of both of the S70 and S60R just no action pics. I'm not in possesion of the video, so I can't post it. volvofox Posted April 16, 2004 Report Share Posted April 16, 2004 There are some great driving roads in that part of the Santa Monicas, but the local Chippies seem to also know that and are vigilant and visible in several places. I drove from my place in the South Bay to one of my daughter's soccer tournaments in T.O. and used that as an excuse to get up close and personal with my suspension mods-it was almost as fun as watching her team win! I think I took Mulholland Hwy west from the 405 to another road that emptied out into Westlake Village-it was loads of fun. Yes, Don, the memories are what really keep us going..... I think that there is going to be another one of these GTG's soon, and you're welcome to come out to it.
