Zappo
Looks like it would work, and probably holds as much fluid as the standard style. I don't think it would cool better than a standard style. Looks good, where would you mount on a Volvo so you could actually look at it?

That'd also get a good airflow going on!

VolvoT5
ONE WORD "CRAP"←It looks like it uses the fins as a heatsink - so ideally the oil would have to stay in there for a couple of mins to cool - which it obviously can't do in this situation! Jeph430
I was lookin at those on summits site, and also the combo oil and tranny fluid ones. You think you could mount one horiaontally instead of vertical? I know it wouldn't get as much airflow, but still would get some?
Zappo
Use it as a pipe leading to the real trans cooler. :)

What model number B&M are most people using? I'm planning to mount the cooler in the drives side vent next to the fog light.

VolvoT5
If your not going to be racing your car, what is the point in a tranny cooler? ←To keep the ATF cool, which in itself will extend the life of the 'box along with regular flushing. Zappo
Most 850's already come with a tranny cooler so why mess with it?←Any performance engine mods you do put added stress on the drive train. The add on cooler will help lower the trans temp and extend its life. We aren't replacing the stock cooler, just adding on to it. It also allows a little more tranny fluild in the system.
