mustang
I've got an 2001 S80 (non turbo) with about 58K miles and recently when starting it cold, it runs very rough for about 20 seconds. And, when taking off for the first time, it has a noticabe hesitation. After the first takeoff, it runs fine. This only happens when its cold (like an overnight park). It feels like the ignition is miss-firing. The plugs have been changed from the factory 4-prong to standard platinum, and it has a new air filter.Any thoughts? Is there a computer code reader (or other) I can get to diagnose the problem (even though the message center claims no problems)? Thanks in advance. Bay13
Try cleaning the throttle body. Put the Volvo multi prog plugs back in the car.
MrWinkey
Yes I agree with bay 13..but I would start by putting the factory plugs back in...Did your problem start after plug replacement?
