Jamaica2G Posted April 16, 2004 Report Share Posted April 16, 2004 ok, here's what you do...fold both parts of the back seat down and there will be two small pieces on either side that are still there... pull each one hard towards the front of the car until it clips out and then lift itupwards toward the roof. Once you do it with one side, you can do it with the other.Next, you have to pull off the plastic that is on the big pillar that supports the rear window. At the point where the plastic reaches the rear door, you have to unclip plastic by pulling it towards the opposite side of the car (like pulling it away from the steel that it is attached to). There will be multiple clip points, so be patient and give consistent pressure as the big plastic piece goes towards the rear of the car (trunk area) the clips are sliding. So, once you pulled off the clips that were closest to the door, with your back facing the front of the car (like resting on the back of the front seat) pull the plastic piece towards you and it should come out. if not, check for other clip points that you missed. Remember be patient so you wont break anything.Once the two plastic pieces and the extra seat pieces are removed, just lift up the shelf away from the steel and it will all unclip. The seat belts will get in the way if you want to remove the whole shelf, but reconnecting them is quite annoying. Ask any more questions ya got.
