Starting My V70xc Project

Hey! Well, i have a sandstone 1999 V70XC. I'm getting inspiration from the iPD XC-R project (link) and i think i have a pretty good idea of where i want to go. I definatly want to incorporate the v70R front bumper and rear spoiler that was on the iPD project. anyway, here is my part list so far.

- K&N Drop filter

- BSR PPC ECU upgrade

- OEM Volvo dual exhaust plus endpipes from iPD

- Strut brace from EST

- Sway bar kit from iPD

- V70R front bumper

- Rear wing

i also want to lower it a little, but i don't know what to do about the nivomats in the rear. i was looking around for wheels and i really like the heico volutions, but they are way too much money. after looking around some more, i found some 17" Moda R6 wheels that are mre in my price range and kinda look like the heicos. I was wondering what endpipes i should get for the exhaust. the iPD "big bore" ones are 11.5 inches long...which seems like it would stick out from the rear bumper too much. I also need to paint hte moulding sandstone (as well as the bumper and spoiler). Anyway, that is my plan so far, tell me what you think.

First off, thanks for moving the thread. Ok, i added my location (san juan cap) and i now have a sig and an avatar. anyway, back to the XC. I'll be sure to post pics of my progress. This is a summer project, so i will slowly but surely get stuff done.

i think it will work out well. i will be out of school for the summer next week, so hopefully i can get some of the stuff ordered. i need to find a place to get the bumper and rear spoiler painted (volvo color code 437- sandstone mettalic).

Your local body shop is the best place to get stuff painted.
