exexpat
I do like that look on the white wagon, how'd you do it?←Duplicolor Metalcast Red (paint for getting red anodized metal effect). About 4 coats over the amber and 2 more coats over the entire top light to blend it in. Then buff with Maguiar's #1 Cleaner and #2 Polish. You still see the lensing perfectly and it looks unmodified the untrained (and possibly trained, only one person here, white850r, has seemed to notice them) eye. prasamin
can you use Duplicolor Metalcast in black or smoke to smoke out all the lenses or do you reccommend something else for the job or a different method?
exexpat
I haven't seen smoke for sale, but if they have it, then yes. Otherwise there is the old standby, VHT nightshades. The latter has a bit of a brownish hue to it, so I'd try the duplicolor metalcast if you can find black

Just lok for the paint in car model section, not in paint section. just sand the light with 400-600 grit, then 3-4 coats of paint+2-3 coats of clear coat, and you're good to go. I did it on my AccordThis stuff works great too, i did all my front with Nightshades, and it looked good, just sand it too, and use really light coats, but not too many. then clear coat.see the 4x4 wheel gap on my car, before lowering? exexpat
I like your ca. 85-87 Accord hatchback. I take it you lowered it later and relocated the license plate to the bumper?Back on point, the tails look good. Many people do prefer the Testor's red as you mentioned. I personally like the bigger can (the Testor's one is good for one application), then I can do every car I will own for the rest of my life... ;)
Ivanfbi
well, it was like 3 bux, so, i don't care, and i still got enough to do like one more set of lights. by the way, i liked your golf, and my accord is 87, 85 is 2 gen. my next car is going to be modded
exexpat
Clean car. Sorry, I forgot they produced that style until '89 and '86 was the first year. I didn't even start driving until 1990.
