volflo
2000 kgs to 1295 kgs.476 hp to 3xx hp .700 NM to4xx NM.(my orig weight before ~1580-1600kgs (dont no more exactly cos i still had somestuff in the car but the reling already removed...)raced with brand new e55t amg on the autobahn. for 10 times from around 100 or 140 to top. uphill, straight, curves. was awesome fun.ran into rev limiter 3 times (at ~280 speedo). than the merc pulled away. it will go 300 plus top end. the merc was a slighlty bit faster going full throttle.the guy was very cool tho. two thumbs up at 250k, when he slowly passed me.i did test my 100 to 200 acceleration with two people on the car: 10.5; 10.7; 10.8the e55 will do that in 9.5secs.so my times are just about right. :D

Noahkk19
Man, I think you could seriously kill some stuff out there if you got heavier into your engine mods...
ChuckV
That gives me an interesting idea for a second car Pick up an S/C 70. Gut it. Massive weight reductions. Turbo upgrade with some decent tuning. Incredible rolling start power I'd imagine. But going hard off the line would be impossible...

volflo
Man, I think you could seriously kill some stuff out there if you got heavier into your engine mods...how do you know i dont have engine mods? i run steady 18psi between 3500 and 5000 rpm. and peak is 19 psi in fifth gear.bsr custom chip for R manual with lsd an 16t.full 3" ferrita group a exhaust (incl down pipe; no cat at the mom)jr cone with cold air intakeac removal (hell that was good)intercooler in front and totally free breathingUR aluminum 15%-underdrive pulley (saved 6 lbs sitting on the crank)i think i should hit 325 to 335 hp at the crank. the ur pulley and the ac removal should be good for at least 15 whp....next thing is autotech intercooler. perhaps i ll ask for a bit more boost at BSR. (i still have a spare 16T )what would u think of injectors? i think im on the edge of running lean (plugs are a bit to greyish).......
Guest DougK
You know the compressor disengages at WOT on the AC anyways right? I'd say, maybe 5whp BUT probably a 100lbs weights savings... so in the long run, the same results, just wouldn't show up that much on the dyno. J0E
Great job, man! If you really did only lose to a new E55 "slightly", then you pretty much have the fastest Volvo on this forum. You must be trapping 113-115 given the fact that they trap bone stock a measly 116-117. Very nice! And with your only modifications being "weight reduction", a chip, intake, removed ECU, 16T (same turbo as on latter T5s), and a pulley, that is amazing! There was someone on here with very similar modifications on a C70, but in addition an A-Tech intercooler but no "weight reduction", and he only trapped 98 MPH. Your car must be really light for you to have such a significant difference in performance and be able to "keep up" with a car with 160+ HP. Speechless! :o
