SIAMBLUE
I went for the Nankangs this time as these are to be fitted to the rears on my car, But when i come to fit new fronts i will go for a more softer compound which obviously will be more expensive,This time i am going for 225/35/18s i thought 40 profiles were small but seeing is something else on the 35s.The price posted were £65 each inc of VAT, Delivered to the door,As you can see in the pics the difference in the diameter which was putting my speedo out, Was 6-7%,Furthest tyre back is the Michellin Pilot 225/40/18, You can see the difference in height.Treads of the Michellin on the left and the Nankangs middle and right.Profiles of the tyres 35s are small compared to the 40s, Damaged rims ahead if i hit a pot hole. UberV70
Profiles of the tyres 35s are small compared to the 40s, Damaged rims ahead if i hit a pothole←I just got my new 225/35/19's today - if you think your sidewall is tiny, think again. All you gotta do is pay attention to the road and potholes shouldnt be a problem!
