Modus Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 I would like to change my dim pal green hue on my dashbord to a tint that is a lot more pleasing to the eye. my 98 S70 reminds me too much like when i had my 83' 240. That stupid green color. I'm liking the E glows. however I never been that far into the woods behind the dash. Has anyone modded the stock incandesants to LED? for a more pronounced viewing colors.And has any one modded a differnet color for the factory alarm beacon?thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will be making a led panel for my gauges because wide angle 194 style LEDS don't really work in the s70 (for me).One thing to remember about the gaugecluster... it has a "gel" covering in the back of the face plate that gives it a blue color. When they incadescent (yellow emitting) light shines through it, it comes out to that pale green. So something you may want top try is getting a more pure white light so it will shine blue through the gel.
